    Phew, what a scorcher, I hear you cry! Don’t forget your suncream on Sunday for the market! Our chocolatier Jayne has decided to throw in the towel of melted chocolate just for this month and is going on holiday – however if you need a chocolate fix, let me know and I can put you in direct contact with her.

    We have Creation Station joining us again this month with free kids activities and alongside her will be face painting and a glitter tattooist (not free, but very reasonable and who doesn’t want a glitter tattoo?)

    If it’s the 1st Sunday in the month it must be Heaton Moor Producers Market and that is this coming Sunday May 6th.

    We are delighted to be welcoming Jann from Creation Station. She will be offering a kids stall of free craft activities for all ages – find her on the Kush carpark!!

    And when you are weary from all your splendid purchases you can quaff your thirst with a beer from the Beer Festival happening at the Scout Hut just behind the market.

    We think of everything food, drink, crafts, fun things for the kids and beer poured into a cold pint glass. We even have actual bunting, thanks Katie Tasker! Is there no end to the marvellousness!

    The weather is just too arctic and the conditions too dangerous, so we have reluctantly decided to cancel the market on Sunday March 4th.

    We will be back on April 1st!

    However, of course, there is a warm welcome waiting at Heaton Moor Market (see that segue, there:) We have our full line up, our hot food this month is fresh, hot pizzas straight from the pizza oven – if you need me, you might find me stood by the oven…

    We have no macaroons anymore, Ruth’s stall was so pretty with it’s pastel colours. Ruth has had to reluctantly hang her piping bag up for the moment. Instead we have a new muffin stall to tempt your tastebuds and B’Spoke coffee have sourced a small new supply of macaroons. If you came to the Christmas Festival, you will have seen Celia Hume Artwork, we are delighted to welcome Celia back and Marmalady is back on duty with her home bakes and preserves. It’s all go in the artist garrets and kitchens of Heaton Moor this week!

    It’s feeling a lot like Christmas, days are getting shorter, the realisation that presents have to be bought and soon is dawning and children across the land are asking ‘Is it Christmas yet?’

    Join us on Nov 25th, the Market is having a night outing and we have gone all fancy. Hotfood stalls, outdoor bars, Santa on his sleigh, Santa in his grotto, a funfair, entertainment – it’s all happening on Shaw rd 3-7.30pm on Nov 25th.
