It was great to be back last month, thankyou for coming in such fabulous numbers, thankyou for being so sunny and warm, it was a pleasure to see you all. And a huge thankyou for adapting to hand sanitising and keeping to the one way system without a single complaint, plus you all kept distancing in mind – as much as was possible given the space we use. It made the whole day as normal as it could possibly be – many thanks from all of us!

‘Normal’ service is being resumed, the market will open on Shaw rd from 10.30am this Sunday July 5th . There will be Covid 19 measures in place, there will be a 1 way system, hand sanitiser on entry, on every stall, social distancing will be in place, looks like it will be 1m spacing by then. All transactions if possible will be contactless and there can be no handling of goods or free samples.

I am sure you all understand why and we thank you in advance for being polite and kind hearted about it (unless you’ve all undergone gone personality transformations in lockdown!)

There will be less traders for this 1st market back so that we can maintain spacing and hopefully keep everything moving smoothly.

There is significant added pressure on the No Parking on the Kushoom Koly carpark and on the road, including the Disabled spot as it will hugely impact how we can space ourselves. Please remember not to leave your car there.
