    Autumn has officially begun and judging by the rain today, the weather agrees! I haven’t looked at the forecast for this Sunday, I prefer to envisage blue skies, the leaves begining to change colour, gracefully falling from the trees, a slight breeze touching the rims of the gazebos, the joyful cries of the Traders as they set up their tables, the delight as we see that no cars have been left parked overnight even though signs have been up for days….oh yes, we can but dream…

    June is a busy month for Heaton Moor Market – we have the regular monthly market on Shaw Road, Sunday 5th June. Then, on Sunday 19th June, some of our traders will be setting up as part of ‘Heaton Moor Market in the Park’ for the Heatons Summer Festival in Heaton Moor Park.
    Plus, on Saturday 25th June, out Art Market will be outside the Moor Top Pub and joining the Heatons Art Trail weekend.

    The May Bank Holiday Weekend is almost upon us and Heaton Moor Producers’ Market is this coming Sunday, 1st May. As it’s the May Bank Holiday, it’s also the annual Heatons Beer Festival in the Scout Hut behind St. Paul’s Church (Fri-Mon). Great weekend for The Heatons!
