Market day on Shaw rd this Sunday! We don’t have a maypole for everyone to dance around to welcome May, but we can easily arrange a garrotting by errant bunting that slowly sinks earthwards as the day progresses. The bunting is a trap specially created for tall people and a delight for all children being carried on shoulders who take hold of it and carry it onwards down Shaw rd:) We keep ourselves busy with minor bunting issues throughout the day – it is rather beautiful bunting and I can recommend Noellia #Yanthia for all your bunting needs!
And as if another reason is needed to come to the market – its the Heatons Beer Festival too! From noon in the Scout Hut – ask for directions, they are tucked away just behind us. Always incredibly popular, on all weekend.
