“A glorious sunny day”………well, that was the forecast for the start of this Bank Holiday Weekend, but unfortunately, we saw little of the sun! Gusts were what we seemed to be greeted with instead, with many a stallholder having to quickly grab their displays as the wind tunneled down our market site. But, at least the gazebos stayed put………
There was a wonderful turn out for our market again this month and, although we were missing a couple of our regular stallholders due to holidays & the flu, we were fortunate to be able to bring some new faces & new products to our market family. And, from the look of things, they received such a warm welcome that they’ll be back to join us again at future markets.
With a shop in Bowden, Cheshire, Vanillis brought their wonderful cakes & pastries to The Heatons for the first time and certainly impressed!
Malpas – Cheshire (not Manchester), is the home of Chorlton Cheese – Award winning Cheese made on their farm and proving very popular with all.
Bringing authentic Indian Chutneys & Pickles, Samosas & Pakoras to Heaton Moor, Manchester-based Alam’s enjoyed their first market with us
Understandably popular, and something completely new to our market – Manchester-based TicketyBrew brought hand brewed & bottled beer.
The Real Curry Co
Another new stall which offered a perfect option for a weekend meal – freshly made authentic curries to take home and enjoy (as if you made it yourself!)
We hope to be able to welcome these new stalls back at our next market, as well as have our wonderful regular stallholders back to for all to enjoy their quality products. No market in June this year, but back in full swing on Saturday 06 July………See you there….
